Hi I’m Heather Oset. I had the Loop Duodenal switch on January 18, 2017. I was 356 lbs with hypertension, sleep apnea, sciatica/back pain problems and borderline diabetic. At that weight, I also wasn’t able to start a family. As a hairdresser, I’m on my feet all day and my weight was affecting my job.
The decision to have bariatric surgery after meeting with Dr. Yurcisin and the team at Garden State Bariatrics was one of the best decisions of my life! I’ve lost 226 lbs! I never thought I would go from 356 lbs to 130 lbs . This all just seems surreal to me!
My decision to have bariatric surgery saved my life. I have my health back!!!! I’m no longer suffering from hypertension, sleep apnea or borderline diabetic. And eventually I’ll be able to start my family. That means the world to me!
